The PrmoWeb Privacy Policy
This agreement is effective as of June 9th, 2024
Keeping this simple...
We're PremoWeb LLC, also known as PremoWeb Internet Services, but you can call us PremoWeb. We mainly develop software, tailored services and build awesome websites, but we're not lawyers. You're probably not a lawyer either, so we've purposely made this document easy to understand for the average English speaker.
Consent and withdrawal of consent
When you use our products and services, you agree to follow our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. If you want to withdraw your agreement, just email us at privacy@premoweb.com or call us at +1-888-PREMOWEB (or 1-888-773-6693). This will initiate a withdrawal of your consent to this privacy policy, which may result in the termination of your account upon your request and confirmation.
Information we collect
We gather information that you willingly provide and data automatically obtained from our systems, your web browser, or our software. We only gather information on a need-to-know basis and always seek your consent when requesting information. Sometimes, we may automatically collect data, such as your IP address, browser type, and operating system, when you visit our website, primarily for diagnosing issues or preventing fraud. Additionally, we may receive information about you from third parties, like payment processors or credit card issuers, typically collecting only essential data to link third-party accounts to you.
How we use information
We utilize information to deliver, enhance, and manage our products and services. This collected data serves multiple purposes, including:
- Provide, maintain, and administer our products and services.
- Improve our products and services.
- Understand and analyze how you use our products and services.
- Develop new products, services, features, and functionality.
- Communicate with you, including by email and social media.
- Send you marketing and promotional communications.
- Find and prevent fraud.
Certain products and services we provide might need extra information from you, which we wouldn't typically gather. For instance, if you have specific domain names, VOIP telephony service, or other government or vendor-regulated products, we may need more details from you to meet legal or contractual requirements.
Sharing information
We might share information with third parties, but we won't sell or rent your information. We may reveal your details to abide by laws, regulations, or safeguard our rights. If needed by law or with your consent, we may share information. Additionally, we share data with service providers who assist in running our products and with business partners who aid in providing our services to you.
Right to be forgotten
We support the right to be forgotten and will promptly start removing your information from our systems upon request, whenever feasible. However, there might be situations where this isn't possible, like technical constraints, legal duties, or if you've provided incorrect information, or if your account isn't in good standing, such as having an unpaid balance. In some cases, we may require verification before we can remove your information.
Safeguarding Account Information in Unforeseen Circumstances
We maintain a strict no-share policy regarding the access of account information to estates or spouses in the event of an individual's incapacitation, death, incarceration, or similar circumstances, unless it pertains to a business account and is accompanied by a legal justification or court order permitting access to the account and its data.
You have the ability to manage your privacy settings anytime by accessing your account settings. Here, you can adjust your preferences regarding data retention, security, and sharing in case of unforeseen circumstances. PremoWeb LLC reserves the right to deny all requests for access to your account in such circumstances and is likely to terminate your account in such circumstances. We will attempt to notify you of any such termination, just in case you are, in fact, alive and well. Also, we will retain all data we collect on any fraud taken upon your account and make that available to you at no cost.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We may attempt to notify you of changes via email, but email is not reliable. We recommend that you check this page regularly for updates. We are not evil, so there's a good chance our policy will always remain in favor of our customers but in the event we become evil and update our policies to reflect evil policies, it's in your best interest to periodically check for updates. We're throwing that out there, because we've seen companies do some crazy things.
Other
In the event of a violation of this Privacy Policy, we will attempt to notify you or open dialog with you.
